Job summary

Veolia North America, headquartered in Boston, seeks a Commissioning Project Manager to oversee multimillion-dollar, time-sensitive projects for Mission Critical clients across North America.

You will lead teams of engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver data centers, power plants, and financial institutions on schedule and within budget. Travel and remote work from Toronto with heavy travel across the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Electrical/Mechanical industry with commissioning experience.
• 5–10 years commissioning complex installations and solving construction/operational problems.
• Experience managing design, energy services and commissioning projects within scope, budget and schedule.
• Familiarity with NETA, ASHRAE, LEED, and building codes and industry standards.
• Ability to mentor and manage teams; strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage commissioning projects with teams of engineers and contractors.
• Lead client meetings, schedules, and issue resolution processes.
• Develop testing procedures for power, hydraulic, and cooling systems.
• Prepare proposals for RFPs and project pricing requests.
• Review documentation from contractors and oversee subcontractor work.
