Job summary

DLB Associates is seeking a Commissioning Intern to support electrical and mechanical system commissioning across diverse projects. This remote role allows work from anywhere in the United States, with travel up to 75% domestically.

You will assist senior engineers, follow test scripts, set up equipment, and help ensure safety and reporting standards are met. The ideal candidate is actively pursuing an engineering degree and has foundational knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing a Bachelors / Masters Engineering Degree or similar.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and controls system principles.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint/Teams).
• Ability to work remotely with strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site inspection, testing & validation (50%).
• Assist in development of testing plans & procedures (20%).
• Assist in review of construction documents and specs (15%).
• Assist in reporting and project documentation (15%).
