Job summary

CEQEL Critical Commissioning (CCCx) is seeking a Commissioning Associate to support electrical, mechanical and controls testing from a remote United States base. The role emphasizes onboarding, hands-on testing with supervision, and contribution to test plans and reports.

You will interface with vendors and project teams, perform on-site verification when needed, and aim for timely, compliant commissioning deliverables while developing greater autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years of experience in installation, testing, validation and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical or controls infrastructure.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and controls system principles.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to organize and document test results.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspection, validation, testing and verification of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Develop testing plans and procedures; prepare pre-functional checklists and test scripts.
• Review construction drawings, shop drawings and sequences of operations.
• Prepare project progress reports and contribute to final commissioning reports.
