Job summary

IDEAL Building Solutions is hiring an Experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join the Sales and Estimating team. The ideal candidate will bid data center projects, manage deadlines, and provide a white-glove experience to clients through the bidding process.

This full-time role may be in-office or remote (hybrid). First-week in-office training is required, with potential for remote work subsequently. Georgia-based candidates are preferred for occasional on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Construction as an Estimator or Project Manager.
• Experience bidding on data center projects is required.
• Familiar with the Mission Critical Sector is a plus.
• Proficient with takeoff software (zzTakeoff/Planswift/Bluebeam/Edge/Stack).
• Strong Excel skills and time management to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients in commercial, government, and industrial sectors.
• Perform on-site and virtual take-offs.
• Secure pricing from vendors and partners.
• Create estimates and proposals.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
• Manage multiple bidding rounds and deadlines.
• Create project handoff documents.
• Participate in project handoff and budget processes.
