• Ability to resolve complex issues and explain decisions clearly.
• Continually develop product knowledge through approved educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Learn various insurance coverages, contracts, and company procedures to support underwriting decisions.
• Read and interpret policies, manuals, forms, and endorsements to understand their meaning.
• Assemble information, develop opinions, and clearly express decisions using sound judgment.
• Analyze loss experience, financial conditions, and risk characteristics.
• Communicate with independent agents and other associates effectively.
• Complete the Company underwriter training program successfully.
