WAHVE is seeking Work-At-Home Vintage Experts in Commercial Lines Underwriting to leverage extensive insurance experience from a home office. You will assess risk, determine pricing and coverage, and manage a portfolio of new and renewal business while maintaining strong client relationships.

Opportunities span General Liability, Professional/Mgmt Liability, Property, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella, Cyber, Inland Marine, Farm & Agriculture, Surety/Excess & Surplus.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience.
• 10 most recent years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate risk selection with proper insured classification.
• Make underwriting decisions on risk acceptability, coverage alternatives, and pricing.
• Manage a portfolio of new and renewal business with emphasis on book management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with producers, brokers and reinsurers.
• Maintain accurate file documentation per company guidelines.
• Achieve acceptable underwriting profitability within assigned book.
