Job summary

EXL Risk Control seeks self-directed independent contractors to perform on-site risk surveys from home or office, serving Scottsbluff, NE and nearby within about 45 miles. You will schedule surveys and provide risk control reports to insurance clients, aiding underwriting decisions.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to work self-directed from home or office.
• Experience in insurance risk control is a plus.
• Option to obtain a 15-hour online certification if needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports for insurance clients.
• Manage assignments and secure customer appointments within a local territory; complete work on time.
• Evaluate hazards to support underwriting decisions across commercial lines (Property, General Liability, etc.).
• Support various insurance lines including Workers’ Compensation and Auto/Fleet when needed.
