Job summary

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors to perform on-site surveys in the Douglasville/Carrollton, GA area. You will work from home or an office, scheduling visits and delivering risk control reports to help underwrite commercial policies.

Responsibilities include securing appointments, completing surveys in a timely manner, and identifying hazards to reduce loss for insurance clients across several lines of business including Property, General Liability, and more.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in commercial insurance or risk control is a plus.
• Candidates who are self-directed and focused on client quality and timeliness are encouraged.
• Remote work is acceptable from home or office with onsite surveys in the GA area.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to insurance clients.
• Include findings and recommendations to control loss producing conditions.
• Manage assigned surveys, secure appointments in the local territory, and complete work on time.
• Evaluate businesses to identify hazards and improve safety for insurer clients.
