Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking an experienced Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee client portfolios, retain accounts, and support new business across the West region.

The role requires coordinating day-to-day admin and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring accurate policy administration and billing. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in account management (or 5+ in insurance), an active P&C license, and strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance
• Active P&C license; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts, collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy.
