Job summary

UCT is seeking an experienced Commercial Counsel to join our Legal team in a remote role. You will serve as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders across the organization, guiding commercial transactions while balancing risk with business objectives.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, with preference for technology, manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• JD required with 6+ years of legal experience in commercial matters.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experience supporting technology, manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial sectors preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Provide practical legal guidance to internal stakeholders to enable business growth while managing risk.
• Partner with Sales, Procurement, Operations, Finance, HR, and Product teams globally.
• Coordinate outside counsel and monitor regulatory developments affecting the business.
