Job summary

White Hat Gaming Inc. is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Legal and Compliance team, focusing on commercial contract negotiation and licensing for a regulated iGaming business with US exposure.

Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, you will draft and negotiate supplier and customer contracts, assist with licensing applications and regulatory communications, and advise on risk across commercial matters. The role offers remote/flexible working, a discretionary bonus, learning opportunities,

Qualifications

• UK or US qualified solicitor/attorney with 2-4 years PQE.
• Proven track record in high-value commercial negotiations.
• High-quality drafting ability.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a wide global remit.
• Expert written and oral communication skills, with an ability to tailor legal advice to a range of audiences from sales to C-Suite to developers.
• A commercial approach to legal advice, balancing legal issues with business operations and providing relevant, constructive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of supplier and customer contracts for a regulated iGaming business covering a range of jurisdictions.
• Assisting the licensing team with applications and due diligence for regulators globally.
• Advising the business on legal risks across a range of commercial matters including corporate and IP.
• Supporting compliance and AML teams on regulations and complex customer cases.
• Occasional assistance in disputes and litigation.
• Assisting with the legal aspects of preparing commercial tenders.
• Collaborating with C-Suite, Compliance, Delivery, Licensing and Finance.
