Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Comm Ops Data Engineer - Shockwave Medical to join our team. The position is FULLY REMOTE and can sit anywhere in the US.

Position Overview: A cardiovascular medtech data engineer responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, semantic models in Snowflake, and self-service analytics to support the latest analytical practices. Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure data quality, governance, and secure data access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data-related field and 2+ years in data engineering or a similar role.
• Strong SQL and ETL tooling experience for data transformation and warehouse management.
• Experience with Snowflake; Streamlit is a plus; familiarity with BI tools like Power BI.
• Knowledge of data governance, security and compliance best practices.
• Proficiency in Python, R or other scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL-based data pipelines (ETL/ELT) from enterprise data warehouses.
• Assist in semantic model and view development within Snowflake for self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with teammates to understand data needs and deliver technical solutions.
• Explore new data engineering techniques to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Monitor data systems and implement improvements for performance and security.
• Coordinate with IT to ensure data availability and secure data flows across systems.
• This is a hybrid/remote role, depending on location and business needs.
• Travel up to 20% may be required.
