Job summary

Cincinnatus LLC is seeking a senior colorist and finishing editor for a remote, US‑based role supporting an AI lab's generative video models. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in post‑production, credits on 2+ films, and hands‑on experience with Resolve or Baselight, HDR work, and editorial finishing.

You will set quality standards, curate benchmarks, critique model outputs, and help calibrate reviewers. This is a full‑time, approximately 40‑hour week engagement with W‑2 employment through

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional post‑production, color grading and finishing.
• Credits on 2+ professional films.
• Background in at least one of: Senior DI/Finishing Colorist, Finishing or Online Editor, Lead Narrative Editor, or Post‑Production Supervisor.
• Meticulous eye for color shifts, skin tones, contrast, banding and editorial rhythm.
• Hands‑on use of generative tools to create and finish test samples.

Responsibilities

• Set the quality bar: Define standards for color consistency, skin tones, pacing and HDR prep.
• Curate benchmarks: identify and grade strong examples of color grades and edits.
• Critique model outputs: review sequences and note color shifts, contrast, banding and rhythm.
• Shape reviewer pool and captions: define reviewer vetting and calibrate captions guidelines.
• Collaborate with experts to maintain evaluation consistency.
