A private, nonprofit college is seeking a Remote Admissions Representative responsible for recruiting and retaining online students through consultative selling in a call center. Candidates must have at least two years of admissions experience, be comfortable working remotely, and possess strong technical skills. The position offers a starting salary of $46,000 per year along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Position Status: Non-exempt
Work Hours: 12:00pm to 9:00pm EST Monday - Thursday, 10am-7pm Friday EST, Rotational Saturdays.

Position Summary: This sales position is responsible for the recruitment and retention of qualified online students through the demonstrated use of consultative needs based selling in a call center environment. The Remote Admissions Representative is responsible for building long-term relationships both internally and externally with the specific intent of improving lead conversion, increasing enrollment, and maintaining desired retention rates.
Position requires standing or sitting in a stationary position as well as the occasional need to lift, carry, push, and/or move objects up to 10 pounds.
Position requires the use of computer technology/equipment.
Position requires the ability to hear conversations and receive information in person and over the telephone.
Position requires the ability to convey detailed and important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.

Starting salary is $46,000 per year ($22.12 per hour).
This position is eligible for overtime.
The wage for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
