Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a Remote Home Infusion Billing Specialist to join our team. You will collect Home Infusion claims, focusing on accuracy and timely collections, while identifying opportunities to improve revenue cycle performance.

The role requires 2-5 years of billing/collections experience, strong English communication, and proficiency with MS Office and pharmacy software. This is a 100% remote, full-time position with competitive benefits and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years home infusion billing and/or collections experience required.
• High School Diploma and additional specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing, and/or collections.
• Previous remote work environment is a plus but not required.
• Detail oriented with post-billing and post-payment investigative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review claims with outstanding balances and identify actions to collect revenues.
• Follow up with insurers and patients to collect outstanding balances.
• Review EOBs and Remittance Advices to identify denials and ensure timely collection.
• Investigate denials, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to reduce DSO and bad debt.
• Identify payor requirements for submissions and appeals; verify information and submit appeals as needed.
• Communicate status of collections with franchise partners and internal departments.
• Document activity in the system and schedule follow-ups as required.
• Investigate and verify benefits for pharmacy and medical third-party claims.
