Job summary

The Oklahoma Tax Commission is seeking a Collections Supervisor to lead and develop teams responsible for collections, compliance, and taxpayer account resolution. You will drive performance and service orientation while overseeing garnishments, payment plans, and enforcement activities.

You will coach staff, monitor metrics, and implement process improvements to ensure effective revenue recovery and high-quality taxpayer service. On-site work with a focus on compliance and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or public administration; or a related field.
• One year of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Four (4) years of professional experience in auditing, collections, compliance, taxation and revenue, customer service, finance, business administration, or similar field

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to one or more Collections Division sections, ensuring operations align with agency goals.
• Oversee daily collections and compliance operations by monitoring workloads, productivity, quality and performance metrics.
• Oversee Outside Collection Agencies (OCAs), including monitoring activity and vendor performance, and preparing related reports.
• Develop and promote continuous improvement through process evaluation and workflow analysis.
• Lead, coach, and develop employees through mentoring and performance management.
