Job Overview:
Our client is a U.S.-based accounting firm seeking a highly motivated, English-speaking Appointment Setter to drive their sales pipeline through cold lead generation and outreach.
You’ll be responsible for sourcing your own leads, qualifying them, and booking qualified zoom appointments directly into the owner's calendar.
This is a performance-driven role with hourly pay plus commissions, designed to reward people who can deliver quality and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Find cold leads using online research, directories, LinkedIn, Google Maps, or scraping tools.
- Qualify businesses (small U.S.-based business owners with potential accounting and tax needs).
- Conduct outreach via cold calling.
- Book appointments with qualified prospects directly into the owner's calendar using Calendly.
- Confirm appointment details (name, email, phone, and business info) and ensure attendance.
- Track all activity and results using provided systems (Google Sheets).
Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:
- Fluent or conversational in English (written & spoken)
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Experience with outbound sales, cold calling, or lead generation
- Familiarity with U.S. small business landscape is a plus
- Reliable internet connection and remote work setup

What Counts as a Qualified Appointment
To be eligible for full commission, appointments must meet these criteria:
- U.S.-based service based small business (no freelancers, overseas startups, etc.) with revenue greater than $500,000
- Scheduled with the owner or decision-maker
- Real need or interest in accounting, tax, and bookkeeping services
- Valid contact information (email + phone)
- Lead shows up to the booked meeting
Tools You’ll Use
- Calendly (to book directly on the calendar)
- Google Sheets or CRM (to track leads and results)
- Zoom or Google Meet (for calendar integration)
- Lead Sources: LinkedIn, Apollo.io, Google, Yelp, D7 Lead Finder, etc.
- Email & Communication: Gmail, WhatsApp, Google Voice, or Dialpad
KPIs & Success Metrics
- Leads sourced per week
- Qualified appointments booked
- Show-up rate of booked leads
- Conversion rate to clients (tracked internally)
- Accuracy of contact info and business details
Commission Eligibility Policies
- Leads must be logged with name, business, contact info, and appointment time.
- You are responsible for confirming that the prospect is a decision-maker with a valid need.
- Appointments must be attended to earn full commission. No-shows may be rebooked for full credit.
- Repeated submission of unqualified or fake leads will result in termination.
