HealthTrust Supply Chain, a vital part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an experienced Centralized Order Entry Pharmacist for a .9 FTE night shift (7 on/7 off). You will verify orders, monitor medications, enter data into an online system, track prescriptions and support patient care.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of pharmacy is required.
Pharm D is preferred.
1+ year hospital experience is preferred.
Meditech experience strongly preferred.
Current pharmacy license in appropriate state required.

Mansioni

Reviews and interprets physician orders using the patient profile.
Screens for drug interactions, allergies, order duplications, appropriate diagnosis, renal and liver function prior to order entry.
Monitors for incompatibilities, concentration and rate on intravenous drugs.
Prepares written or oral report at change of shift to communicate incomplete assignments and potential patient safety concerns.
Ensures procedures are followed for non-formulary, target, restricted and investigational drugs.
Investigates and reports adverse drug events and medication incidents.
Disseminates drug information to achieve high quality, cost effective therapeutic outcomes.
