Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Coding Quality Analyst to join our remote team. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with shifts 8am-5pm CST and occasional overtime. You can telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.

while delivering high-quality coding reviews. Responsibilities include reviewing records for CPT/ICD/HCPCS coding accuracy, documenting decisions in our systems, presenting findings to stakeholders, and collaborating with teammates to identify billing trends.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active and unrestricted AHIMA or AAPC coding certification.
• 2+ years CPT medical coding experience.
• 2+ years medical record auditing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Review records identified as suspicious or potentially fraudulent using CPT/ICD/HCPCS guidelines.
• Document decisions in company systems with clear notations.
• Discuss and present decisions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with team to understand billing trends and schemes.
