Job summary

Tutor Me LA LLC is looking for experienced Coding & Computer Science Instructors to provide 1:1 and small group virtual instruction to students across the United States. This is a fully remote position allowing you to set your own schedule and rate, and deliver engaging virtual instruction tailored to each student.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, experience working with students, and strong virtual instruction skills. Join us to make a real difference in students’ lives!

Job description

Tutor Me Education is reshaping how students learn, and we're looking for experienced for experienced Coding & Computer Science Instructors to provide 1:1 and small group virtual instruction to students across the country. If you're passionate about supporting students — and you want the flexibility to build a schedule around your life — we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do:

• Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's coding experience, logic building skills, and unique learning profile
• Create structured lesson plans that align with student goals, whether they are a young beginner learning foundational logic, a high schooler preparing for AP Comp Sci (A/Principles), or an advanced student building custom software projects
• Adapt instruction in real time, using live code-sharing and interactive pair-programming environments to troubleshoot logic errors, explain syntax, and teach architectural concepts
• Track student project progress and communicate effectively with families or school partners regarding conceptual mastery, coding milestones, and portfolio development
  
  

Languages & Frameworks We Look For (Varies by assignment):

• Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, HTML/CSS, Scratch, or SQL
• Topics including data structures, object-oriented programming (OOP), web development, and algorithmic logic
