• Education in HIM or related field with RHIA/RHIT/CCS certification or eligibility within six months.
• Prefer experience in coding and familiarity with payer policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and to operate computer equipment.

• Collaborate with billing staff to create and resolve appeals and provide documentation to payers.
