Job summary

CoverGo is seeking a cloud-technology focused Solution Architect to design and deliver modern, cloud-based insurance solutions. You will work with clients to assess needs, design tailored architectures, and support business initiatives aligned with roadmaps, primarily in AWS and/or GCP.

This role is technology agnostic but emphasizes scalable, highly available systems, API and microservices patterns, and open-source / SaaS components.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in solution architecture/design/delivery in the insurance vertical.
• Experience delivering cloud-based technology products in an enterprise setting.
• Ability to define and socialize product/enterprise roadmaps.
• Translate client requirements into actionable architecture plans.
• Understand business architecture models and patterns.
• Design innovative and practical solutions within business constraints.
• Experience with cloud-based apps emphasizing scalability and availability.
• Familiarity with API & Microservices oriented environments.
• Exposure to authentication/authorization concepts (SSO, SAML, identity federation).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand requirements and advise on solution architectures.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to align client needs with design.
• Work with Delivery Managers to oversee architecture during deployment.
• Explore a range of possibilities to identify effective solutions.
• Ensure designs meet client expectations and company standards.
• Assist in selecting components to meet client needs.
• Provide ongoing support during implementation.
• Stay current with industry trends to improve solutions.
