Job summary

CDM Smith, a leading engineering and construction firm, seeks a Cyber Engineer to advance our CTEM program. You will identify, track, and verify remediation of vulnerabilities across SaaS/IaaS/PaaS, working with IT and security teams to reduce attack surfaces.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in security and systems administration, strong scripting ability, and experience across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Willingness to travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, resilient enterprise-grade cloud & on-prem processes in tandem with architects and system engineers.
• Lead vulnerability management and collaboration with technology leadership and business units to secure company digital assets.
• Attend regular technical project and implementation meetings and serve as the security consultant to help guide secure application and infrastructure configurations.
• Actively monitor, assess and recommend tactical and strategic initiatives based on new and emerging threats posing risk to cloud computing environments.
