Job summary

Smithspektrum is looking for a cloud security engineer to design and manage the AWS security infrastructure protecting our platform. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in cloud security or DevSecOps, deep expertise in AWS services, and strong automation skills.

This is a fully remote position with an attractive salary range of $170,000 - $220,000 based on experience, equity participation, and benefits including 4 weeks PTO and a $3,000 annual learning budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security or DevSecOps.
• Deep AWS expertise with core services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS security architecture.
• Build security automation and manage secrets.
• Support incident response and maintain security dashboards.
