Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in McLean, VA seeks a Cloud Security Architect to design and secure cloud environments for DoD initiatives. You will define cloud security requirements, develop accreditation frameworks, and guide systems through authorization processes.

You will work with Security, Compliance, and Architecture teams to implement secure solutions across AWS and Azure, establish monitoring strategies, and translate policy into actionable operations in an agile, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cloud security architecture, engineering, or cloud cyber operations in AWS or Azure or IaaS
• Experience designing and implementing secure baselines for cloud networking, identity, secrets management, encryption, logging, monitoring, and compliance
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to obtain DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification within 90 days of hire date

Responsibilities

• Define cloud security requirements and translate policy into actionable operational processes
• Support development of cloud accreditation frameworks, security policies, and baseline controls
• Guide systems through accreditation and authorization processes
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams, architects, and stakeholders to implement secure cloud solutions
• Design assessment methodologies and establish continuous monitoring strategies
