Job summary

ICF is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, building a multi-cloud landing zone with IaC and DevSecOps practices.

Reporting to the Cloud/Enterprise Architecture Lead, you will implement guardrails, automation, and governance to ensure secure, auditable environments. Remote-friendly with occasional onsite in DC metro area; US-based work is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or platform operations.
3+ years deploying and managing cloud landing zones in production (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
2+ years implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
2+ years supporting federal IT programs and eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Deploy and manage cloud landing zone architectures across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform using IaC and automated provisioning.
Implement policy, guardrails, and least-privilege controls with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
Build integrations using APIs and event streams with proper secrets management and logging.
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures for production readiness.
Collaborate with identity, device, and cybersecurity teams to enforce a consistent Zero Trust model.
