Job summary

Agfa HealthCare seeks an experienced Cloud Operations Leader to build and scale a global cloud operations team delivering enterprise imaging SaaS. You will own production cloud health, reliability, and performance across AWS-first platforms while collaborating with cross-functional partners to accelerate delivery.

You will drive incident response, automation, capacity planning, and security/compliance in regulated environments, supporting a SaaS-first operating model and a 24/7 global service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience operating and scaling cloud-based production platforms, including business critical SaaS services.
• 5+ years of proven leadership experience building, scaling, and leading Cloud Operations and/or SRE teams in a 24/7 global environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health, stability, and performance of all production cloud platforms and shared services.
• Manage SLAs, error budgets, and operational KPIs aligned to customer experience and availability commitments.
• Lead incident response during major outages and post-incident remediation to prevent recurrence.
• Partner with Customer Support to ensure rapid escalation paths and clear customer communications.
• Establish operational readiness and release governance standards.
• Design on-call and escalation models for 24/7 coverage.
• Drive automation to reduce toil and improve reliability.
