Job summary

System One seeks a Cloud Network Engineer to manage and optimize multi-cloud network infrastructure for a major federal program. You will design, deploy, and support network services across Azure, OCI, and on‑prem environments, ensuring security and reliability in a 24/7 operation.

The role requires strong Terraform usage, experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco devices, and citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of related experience, or Master's with 4+ years.
• Extensive Terraform experience including AWS security groups in Terraform.
• Hands-on cloud/networking design across Azure, OCI, GCP and on-prem.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco devices in cloud deployments.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• On-call rotation participation may be required.

Responsibilities

• In‑Depth knowledge with major cloud platforms (Azure, OCI, GCP).
• Implement cloud security measures within cloud networks.
• Design and operate networking in cloud platforms including VPCs and subnets.
• Manage installation and support of network devices and services.
• Monitor network performance and ensure availability and reliability.
• Provide Level‑2/3 troubleshooting and issue resolution.
