Job summary

BRITE is seeking a Network Engineer – Cloud to architect, design, and implement cloud and hybrid network solutions, aligning with security objectives and customer needs. The engineer will design, install, and configure cloud and hybrid environments to integrate on-premises networks with cloud resources, including servers, storage, identity services, security, and networking devices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 5+ years’ related experience.
A+, Security+ and Network+ certifications are required.
Checkpoint CCSA, MCSE, AZ-104 and AZ-700 certifications are highly preferred.
Cisco certifications CCNA/CCNE/CCDA are a plus.
Palo Alto PCNSA required, PSNSE preferred.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, configure, test, and deploy cloud and hybrid network solutions.
Evaluate customer requirements and create scalable cloud and hybrid designs.
Design, configure, test, deploy, and monitor Identity Management and MFA solutions.
Provide SME training and mentorship to peers.
Troubleshoot networking issues, routing, speed, and QoS issues.
Configure Entra ID/Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and related technologies.
Resolve escalated issues from NOC Level 2 technicians.
Create, maintain, and update technical documentation of cloud solutions.
Deliver network assessments and cloud/hybrid infrastructure recommendations.
Perform on-site visits to troubleshoot networking equipment.
Build cloud infra: Azure VMs, Azure VPNs, Entra ID, Intune; implement RBAC.
