Job summary

Synergy Business Innovation & Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Microservices Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications for the US Coast Guard.

You will work in a cross-functional Agile team, building micro frontend and microservices on AWS IL2, and collaborating with clients to convert requirements into secure, scalable software. The role emphasizes Angular/TypeScript frontend work, Node.js backend services, REST APIs, testing, and CI/CD, with a strong focus

Qualifications

• Backend Node.js experience with microservices architecture and REST design.
• Frontend development using Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and secure cloud deployments.
• Familiarity with TypeORM ORM and PostgreSQL.
• Experience writing unit/integration tests with Jest/Jasmine/Mocha.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-native apps with micro frontend and microservices.
• Integrate frontend apps with Angular/TypeScript and REST APIs.
• Build Node.js microservices and backend services for enterprise apps.
• Implement frontend integration patterns across multiple micro frontend apps.
• Work in AWS IL2 cloud environments using cloud-native services.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and solution planning.
• Gather requirements from clients and document them clearly.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in peer reviews.
• Troubleshoot defects, security findings, and performance issues.
• Develop automated unit/integration/e2e tests and support CI/CD.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and backlog refinement.
