Job summary

DANE LLC is seeking a junior to mid-level Cloud Engineer to join our Automation Engineers and USDC DevOps practice. You will build and support CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and work across cloud and on‑prem environments to deliver reliable platform services.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, learn new technologies, and contribute to secure, scalable deployments. Flexible work-from-home options are available and a supportive, mission-driven environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer.
• 2+ years’ experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and platform support.
• Experience with GitLab, AWS, EKS, Terraform, Docker.
• Experience with Jenkins, OpenShift, Ansible.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines and automation in cloud and on‑prem contexts.
• Participate in infrastructure provisioning and deployment automation across environments.
• Troubleshoot and improve deployment, monitoring, and security automation for all platforms.
• Collaborate with cloud and on‑prem teams; share knowledge and best practices.
• Engage in cross-team projects, onboarding, and joint solutioning.
