Sigma Systems, Inc. is seeking a Remote-Cloud Software Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions for a Pittsburgh client.

This role focuses on automation, cloud adoption, and modern development practices across AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will build scalable architectures, write deployment code, and collaborate with engineers to improve operational efficiency while working remotely under EST business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with at least two languages: Java, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with at least one enterprise cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support cloud-based architectures and deployments.
• Develop and maintain cloud solutions to improve scalability and automation.
• Create automation scripts and deployment patterns for cloud environments.
• Monitor usage and performance to optimize cloud resources and costs.
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance cloud adoption and practices.
• Provide documentation and implementation guides for cloud initiatives.
