Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies, a technology consulting and software development company delivering cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions across the United States, seeks an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate large-scale cloud platforms on AWS.

This fully remote role requires hands-on IaC, security, observability, and DevOps, partnering with security and SRE teams to deliver resilient, cloud-native solutions spanning production workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, with at least 3 years on AWS in production environments.
• Hands-on with AWS core services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudFormation.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Experience operating EKS or ECS clusters at scale.
• CI/CD pipelines across infra and application workloads.
• Scripting: Python and Bash; Go/PowerShell a plus.
• Cloud security, IAM, encryption, key management, and compliance.
• Observability, monitoring, and alerting in cloud-native environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate large-scale cloud platforms on AWS.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation across services.
• Ensure security and compliance of production workloads.
• Collaborate with application, security, and SRE teams to deliver resilient solutions.
