Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, build, secure, and operate cloud infrastructure and data platforms for U.S. Government customers. You will work across AWS and OCI, from the secure cloud foundation to data pipelines and AI-enabled automation.

For the right candidate, this position may be remote anywhere in the US. You will join a small, senior team in a regulated environment and work code-first infrastructure, pipelines, and deployments defined in version control, reviewed, and

Qualifications

• IAT Level II certification or equivalent.
• Experience with DoD cloud security, FedRAMP, and government compliance.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and migrate secure AWS/OCI environments incl. network, identity, compute, storage, DB, and Kubernetes.
• Architect and deploy compliant enclaves meeting government security requirements.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines for infra, apps, and data workflows.
• Build and operate Python data pipelines, manage data in cloud stores with retries and lineage.
