Job summary

The Eliassen Group is actively seeking a Cloud Engineer to support Identity and Access Management within a Cyber line of business. This is a fully remote contract role focusing on building integrations with enterprise SaaS products, optimizing microservices, and maintaining critical tooling.

The position requires strong AWS expertise, DevOps practices, and programming in Python or Scala during EST business hours.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong AWS expertise.
• Hands-on DevOps experience supporting cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala.
• Background in enterprise SaaS integration.
• Familiarity with IAM concepts and controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations with enterprise SaaS products.
• Optimize and support microservices used across the organization.
• Implement and support IAM controls and related workflows.
• Collaborate with a hybrid NYC-based team while working remotely on EST hours.
• Operate and improve critical SaaS and internal tooling.
• Leverage generative AI tools such as Claude or Windsurf as applicable.
