Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Cloud Architect - DACT to design and implement cloud-native database access controls across AWS cloud environments. You will develop RBAC and ABAC models, integrate IAM and federated authentication, and govern multi-database access policies.

The role involves collaboration with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams, and delivering runbooks and security procedures. Remote, USA-wide, with a compensation package reflecting market rates.

Qualifications

• Experience designing cloud-native database access controls (DACT).
• Proficiency in RBAC and ABAC models for secure DB access.
• Ability to integrate AWS IAM, SSO, and federated auth with database authorization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native DACT frameworks.
• Develop and administer RBAC and ABAC models.
• Configure and manage database security controls (roles, privileges, schemas, grants, row-level security).
• Implement and govern database access policies across multiple database platforms.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to set enterprise-wide standards.
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and security procedures.
