Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Cloud Architect - DACT to design and implement cloud-native database access controls and governance across AWS cloud environments. The role focuses on RBAC and ABAC models, integrating with IAM and SSO, and supporting database modernization and migrations.

The expert will shape secure database architectures, define access policies, and produce comprehensive documentation and runbooks for enterprise compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Expert in cloud-native database access controls and security policies.
• Proficient with RBAC/ABAC models and cloud IAM integrations.
• Experience migrating and securing databases to PostgreSQL-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native DB access controls (DACT) across AWS.
• Develop RBAC/ABAC models and integrate with IAM and SSO.
• Configure database security, roles, privileges, schemas, and grants.
• Govern access policies across multiple database platforms and migrations.
• Produce runbooks, security procedures, and technical documentation.
