Job summary

Oddball is seeking a Cloud Data Architect to own the enterprise data architecture across a multi-cloud landscape, with Azure as the primary focus. You will lead modernization, data modeling, and platform engineering while ensuring governance, security, and compliance for Veteran data.

You will enable AI/ML capabilities, collaborate with VA stakeholders and engineers, and craft scalable data products with robust pipelines. This fully remote role supports a federal-focused analytics platform.

Qualifications

Experience designing enterprise cloud data architectures in Azure.
Hands-on Azure Databricks for data engineering and AI/ML workloads.
Familiar with data governance, security, and federal standards.
Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own and document cloud data architecture across a multi-cloud environment with a primary focus on Azure.
Lead data architecture modernization including migration strategy, data modeling, and platform engineering.
Design governance, security, and compliance strategies for a platform handling sensitive data.
Enable data science and AI/ML capabilities with deployment pipelines and data workflows.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and VA stakeholders to deliver scalable data products.
