Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. seeks an Information Security Engineer to maintain compliance certifications for Cisco Cloud offerings and support regulatory readiness across SOC2, ISO27001/17/18, ENS, and C5. You will collaborate with CloudARC leadership, Product Management, and Engineering to build scalable compliance capabilities.

The role involves translating security requirements for product teams, partnering with auditors, and shaping roadmaps to enable trusted cloud solutions globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a security or compliance role.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or other major cloud environments.
• Deep expertise in regulatory compliance and security frameworks (ISO 27001/17/18, SOC2, C5, ENS).
• Solid understanding of IT security processes such as IAM, Vulnerability Management, Backup/Disaster Recovery.
• Experience partnering with auditors to drive attainment and maintenance of compliance certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support security compliance audits in Cisco's cloud compliance portfolio.
• Collaborate with a team of compliance engineers to develop and execute control strategies.
• Partner with Cisco Business Units to support adoption of Common Cloud Controls.
• Serve as a domain expert for security compliance frameworks and provide guidance to product/engineering teams.
• Conduct information security assessments across a portfolio of products and summarize remediation plans.
• Work with CloudARC leadership and Product Management to maintain Product Compliance roadmaps.
