Job summary

Siemens Software in the United States is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to advise and implement cloud and hybrid hosting solutions for Mendix deployments. You will work across Kubernetes environments on AWS, Azure, GCP, and on customer premises, optimizing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

The role requires 4+ years in cloud infra, strong containerization knowledge, and willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in professional cloud infrastructure and containerized environments.
• Experience architecting, deploying, and operating highly automated Kubernetes-based architectures on public and private clouds.
• Strong DB admin skills: Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle.
• CI/CD tooling: GIT/SVN, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on cloud/hybrid hosting solutions for Mendix deployments based on cost, performance, and security.
• Assist with installation, configuration, operations, and solving Mendix platform deployments in Kubernetes environments on AWS/Azure/GCP and on customer premises.
• Support customers with CI/CD pipelines to implement Mendix deployments.
• Get trained on Mendix Cloud Architecture principles and deployment options.
• Define and explain (architect) and implement/troubleshoot highly automated hosting infrastructure.
• Experiment with innovative approaches to automating cloud infrastructure and AI-driven deployments.
