Nava Public Benefit Corp is seeking a Cloud Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale government projects. You will collaborate with our internal team and government partners, shaping scalable cloud solutions that serve millions of Americans.

You can work remotely or from our offices in DC, SF, or NYC. The role demands deep cloud expertise, senior leadership, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while delivering practical, production-ready systems.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of IT/Cloud architecture experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Residency: United States for at least 3 years in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Set the overall cloud architecture vision for Nava CMS.
• Interface with stakeholders and government partners as the cloud representative.
• Identify new tools, technologies, and processes for the CMS Cloud platform.
• Detect and mitigate technology risks in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Socialize and secure buy‑in for engineering initiatives with teams and partners.
• Coordinate with project management to prioritize roadmaps and cloud implementation.
• Ensure holistic rollout of features across engineering teams.
• Develop common technical and implementation standards across groups.
