Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud AI Engineer to develop, deploy, and operate AI/ML solutions across a multi-cloud GOV environment. The role supports 70+ tenants in AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, with remote work allowed within the United States.

Responsibilities include building ML models, pipelines, and serving infra; integrating generative AI capabilities; and collaborating with data scientists and engineers to deliver reliable AI services, while adhering to compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AI/ML engineering, data engineering, or applied ML using cloud-based tech.
• Experience with managed AI/ML services on two or more cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI).
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience designing ML pipelines, model serving in production cloud environments.
• Familiarity with responsible AI, governance, and federal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build, train, and deploy ML models across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Develop and maintain ML pipelines for data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Implement model serving infrastructure with real-time and batch APIs; ensure scalable online inference.
• Collaborate to operationalize AI/ML solutions and document architecture and runbooks.
