BairesDev is seeking a Clojure Engineer to develop high-performance applications on the JVM using Clojure and functional programming. You will build data-oriented systems with immutability and modern concurrency while leveraging Lisp-based syntax.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering with a focus on functional programming.
• Proven expertise with Clojure and the JVM ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of LISP, immutability and data-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with REPL-driven development and functional architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Clojure and the JVM.
• Utilize REPL-driven development to prototype, test, and refine code.
• Architect data-oriented solutions with immutable structures.
