Job summary

Naropa University is seeking a Clinical Support Professional (AS) for the CMHC-605e Group Counseling course, Aug 24–Dec 11, 2026. This role supports faculty, assists with student learning, and helps manage course logistics in an online setting.

The position is a three-credit, one-semester appointment with emphasis on facilitating group dynamics, supporting CANVAS/Zoom communications, and ensuring smooth course operation under supervision.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Understanding of program-specific info, such as Gestalt Therapy and related concepts.
• Commitment to co-create a diverse and inclusive community and participate in JEDI development.
• Demonstrated understanding of equity, access, and opportunity in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Attend class and class meetings.
• Facilitate limited in-class small group work related to learned clinical objectives.
• Monitor and assist in instruction of course content within program goals.
• Support the faculty of record for the course by tracking group dynamics.
• Confer with course instructor regarding student learning and participation.
• Provide course-related CANVAS, Zoom, and email support.
• Complete required trainings within set timeframes.
• Other duties as assigned for the course.
