Job summary
Jobgether SRL in Canada is seeking a Clinical Support Nurse to provide clinical and administrative support to a remote healthcare team during weekends, holidays, and peak periods. You will help ensure lab results, pharmacy communications, referrals, and patient follow-ups are handled accurately and efficiently.
The role requires current Canadian nursing licensure, strong clinical judgment, and excellent English communication.
Qualifications
- Current nursing licensure in a Canadian province or territory.
- RN/RPN/LPN qualification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in clinical environments.
- Strong clinical knowledge and documentation discipline.
Responsibilities
- Review incoming lab and other clinical results and flag urgent findings.
- Coordinate follow-up with physicians and care team.
- File clinical results in the EMR.
- Monitor pharmacy faxes and coordinate follow-up.
- Assist with organizing patient referrals.
- Document actions in patient charts.
- Communicate with patients about appointments and care needs.
- Support physicians, PAs and referral staff as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings and team communication.
