Job summary

Dark Horse Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Clinical Supply Chain Senior Consultant to guide life sciences clients through end-to-end supply planning for clinical trials, including IRT/RTSM, CD&OP, and packaging strategies.

You''ll lead global supply activities, collaborate with Clinical Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and manufacturing partners, and mentor junior staff on industry best practices, GxP compliance, and risk management in a dynamic, remote-first consulting environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in clinical supply chain management in biopharma.
• Experience managing global trials and designing labeling/global supply chain strategies.
• Experience with FDA, EMA, MHRA regulatory environments.
• Consulting experience and ability to lead workstreams.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as supply chain lead on client's study teams and cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Quality, Regulatory and CMC.
• Manage CGMP, GCP, GDP clinical trial supply activities including pack & label scheduling, depot distribution, inventory management, IRT management.
• Lead selection of partners for packaging, IRT/RTSM, and ancillary sourcing.
• Lead CD&OP, SIOP, IBP planning processes.
• Create long-term CMC supply plans and short-term labeling and distribution schedules.
• Create Inventory Management strategies for clinical sites and depots.
• Identify gaps and participate in SOP writing to support processes.
• Perform study start-up activities including IRT/RTSM UAT and site activation.
• Perform study close-out activities including reconciliation, returns, destruction.
• Mentor junior staff on clinical supply chain methodology.
• Develop and present client deliverables.
• Perform secondary research on industry trends.
