Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Clinical Research Associate regionally aligned across the United States. The role focuses on site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits while ensuring regulatory and protocol compliance.

The candidate will verify informed consent, protect patient confidentiality, review ISF/TMF, and support data integrity. Frequent travel (up to 75%) and collaboration with sponsor teams are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Must demonstrate good computer skills and be able to embrace new technologies
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage required travel of up to 75% on a regular basis

Responsibilities

• Performs site qualification, site initiation, interim monitoring, site management activities and close-out visits (performed on-site or remotely) ensuring regulatory, ICH-GCP and/or Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practice (GPP) and protocol compliance.
• Verifies the process of obtaining informed consent and protects the confidentiality of subjects/patients.
• Per the CMP/SMP: Assesses site processes, conducts Source Document Review, verifies data in CRFs, resolves queries, and supports ISF/TMF management.
• Manages IP inventory, storage, labeling, and compliance with IP handling per protocol and GCP/local regulations.
• Maintains ISF accuracy, ensures archiving per local guidelines and regulations.
• Documents activities and supports recruitment, retention, and data tracking; communicates with project teams to meet timelines.
• Understands project scope, budgets, and timelines; adapts to changing priorities; liaises with site personnel and sponsor teams.
• Prepares for Investigator Meetings and sponsor meetings; contributes to audit readiness.
• Maintains knowledge of ICH/GCP and company SOPs; may train junior staff and assist in site identification.
