Job summary

UC San Diego seeks a Population Health Quality Analyst to leverage Epic's Healthy Planet module for building quality tools that monitor state and federal programs for UCSD and affiliates. Experience with clinical information systems and a strong analytical skill set are essential.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in a related area or 7 years of experience, plus capability to work remotely as needed and to train users across organizational levels. A healthcare setting background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Seven years of related experience or a Bachelor's plus three years in related field.
• Knowledge of clinical applications, systems design, development, training and quality assurance.
• Ability to diagnose problems, test solutions, and implement effective changes.
• Ability to train and support users across clinical information systems.
• Strong documentation, testing, and reporting capabilities.
• Experience guiding change initiatives in healthcare settings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Use Epic Healthy Planet to build and maintain quality monitoring tools.
• Monitor state and federal programs for UCSD and affiliates.
• Collaborate with senior staff and managers on functionality and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide expert guidance on clinical care process improvements.
• Design and execute tests; analyze performance data and reports.
