Job summary

LAUKOA seeks a Clinical Psychologist for a remote, night-shift position supporting a Defense Health Agency contract. You will provide tele-psychology services to low-to-moderate acuity patients and collaborate with military health teams.

Required are a doctoral degree in clinical/counseling psychology (APA-accredited), an APA internship, 2+ years of post-graduate experience, and an active US license with BLS certification. TRICARE knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship required.
• Minimum two years post-graduate clinical psychology experience with virtual care.
• Current active clinical license to practice psychology in the US.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide brief, evidence-based virtual individual or group counseling for low to moderate acuity patients.
• Serve as practitioner and consultant in psychology, supporting military populations via telehealth.
• Attend staff meetings for case discussion, education, QA and safety; follow clinical standards.
• Assess fitness for duty, prepare MEB/MSE reports, and coordinate with military medical processes.
• Explain TRICARE benefits to beneficiaries and maintain patient records and documentation.
• Develop and monitor comprehensive treatment plans; collaborate with physicians and staff.
• Update patient charts within 72 business hours after appointments.

Education

Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology (APA-accredited)

APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship

Two years post-graduate experience as Clinical Psychologist

Active, unrestricted psychology licensure in the US

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
