Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America is seeking a Clinical Trial Assistant to support the Clinical Project Manager in planning, implementation, execution, and management of multiple studies, ensuring day-to-day operations meet timelines and regulatory requirements.

This US-remote, full-time role collaborates with cross-functional teams, CROs, vendors and investigators to develop study documents, monitor data, coordinate trial supplies, and prepare updates and SOPs, with periodic on-site meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' industry experience in clinical drug development or related trials.
• Familiarity with ICH-GCP and FDA regulations; understanding of trial conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CPM in planning, implementing, and managing multiple clinical studies.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure proper trial execution and data quality.
• Monitor clinical data collection and assist with site lists and CRO/vendor coordination.
• Prepare and review study documents such as protocols, amendments and CSRs.
• Support training, SOP updates, and trial metrics tracking.
